Turkey’s aviation and technology company, TAI-Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc., has been the 6th Defense and Aviation Industry Export Champion.
According to the evaluations of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) in 2016, TAI, the Exporting Champion of Turkey in the field of Defense Industry, took place in the first 20 on the TIM’s first 1000 exporter list.
In the ceremony held on June 17, 2017 in Istanbul the award was presented to the TAI’s Chairman Oguz Borat by Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli and Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci.
“TAI continues to grow by strengthening its new products with its increasing technological competencies. Today, TAI will play an important role in Turkey’s goal of reaching 500 billion US dollar export with 1 billion USD per year and 10 billion USD projected within 10 years. TAI aims to increase its exports of 500 million US Dollars last year as a platform producer and integrator to 2-3 billion US Dollars by 2023,” TAI announced.
